That the debates around the installation of 5G are distant. In the Drôme in the town of Bourdeaux, a couple of farmers have just spent four months without a landline. The fault is outdated phone lines.

“If he had sent someone to find out what was there, but we never saw anyone”, Plague Sylvain Gouge, a Drôme farmer. For the mayor of Bourdeaux Thierry Didier, this situation is typical of the abandonment of rural areas. “In remote places with fragile people who live there, it is necessary that we have a correct functioning”, said this elected official.


To protest against this technological divide between cities and countryside, 215 elected officials have stepped up to the plate against telephone operators accused of not playing the game.
