Traditional or electric two-wheelers are increasingly used even in winter, especially in this period of escape from public transport. The tread pattern features diffuse lamellar grooves that guarantee maximum grip even on the first snowflakes, while maintaining optimal control on dry surfaces. Designed taking into account the increasing speeds of modern e-bikes and as an added performance value for any type of city or touring bicycle out of town, Cycl-e WT features a compound that adapts to low temperatures, offering grip reliability even below zero and , thanks to the shorter warm-up time, it guarantees maximum traction on all those surfaces typical of winter in the city.

The tread formed by two layers of compound: a “cap” compound in contact with the asphalt and a “base” with anti-puncture function. The formulation of the first guarantees excellent driving safety, even on the most modern and powerful electric bikes (speed pedelecs), and on various road surfaces (paving, pedestrian crossings, rails and so on). The “base”, with thicknesses ranging from 3 to 3.5 mm depending on the size, is instead designed to prevent debris and external bodies from piercing the cover.

In addition to being a physical barrierThanks to its considerable thickness, the base has a formulation designed to incorporate sharp objects, avoiding the perforation of the tire. Furthermore, the compound of the Cycl-e tires is environmentally friendly: inside it is Polverino, derived from end-of-life car tires. The selected powders are re-generated and re-used in the polymer matrix. Particular attention was then paid to maximizing the use of natural rubber, a raw material from renewable sources.
