The adjustable rear fin brings back the “wind profile” designed by Touring Superleggera who, first, used the wind tunnel to get feedback on the aerodynamic theories of the time. “The fin was born as a natural extension and extremeization of the teardrop shape of the passenger compartment,” explains de Fabribeckers.

  • For the bodywork of the first Aero 3, the owner chose the Stratosphere Red color. Number 19 is an evocation of the Alfa Romeo 8C 2900 Le Mans, which competed in 1938 driven by Clemente Biondetti and Raymond Somner and currently exhibited at the Alfa Museum in Arese. This is Touring’s first full carbon bodywork. The thicknesses and orientation of the fibers are designed to achieve the best weight-stiffness ratio, strength, appearance and quality, including ease of repair in the event of an accident.
