Jeep maintains and launches the new rechargeable hybrid models, the first of the FCA Group, to offer sustainable and environmentally friendly mobility to its customers. By connecting to the Hybri-4xe link, you can receive all the information on the exclusive First Edition of Jeep Compass and Renegade 4xe. Available in two configurations, Urban and Off-road, both ensure an overall power (more electric thermal engine) of 240 hp, with an increase in torque of up to 50% compared to the Trailhawk version, with 170 hp diesel engine and 350 Nm of torque at 1,500 rpm. The 1.3-liter turbocharged petrol engine acts on the front axle and works in synergy with the electric motor that drives the rear wheels. Thus the combination of the thermal engine and the electric one guarantees high performance and driving pleasure.
Acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h takes place in about 7 seconds, the maximum speed of 130 hours in pure electric, at 200 per hour in hybrid mode. Consumption declared by the House, according to the Wltp cycle, stands at 2.01 liters per 100 km for the Renegade 4xe and drops to 1.97 liters per 100 km on the Compass 4xe, while Co2 emissions are much lower than 50 g / km. To recharge using the efficient Wallbox and the special cable included in the First Edition package, it takes just one hour and forty minutes, or half an hour for a full to a fast recharge column.
A little help to increase autonomy in electricity it comes from the Sport mode, Eco coaching and Smart charging functions, thanks to which it is possible to easily manage the charging modes both from the vehicle’s Uconnect radio and from the smartphone.
Renegade and Compass 4xe First Edition can be recognized by the exclusive stickers and for the decidedly rich range of accessories. They mount 19-inch wheels (on the Urban configuration) and 17-inch wheels (on the Off-road, the most specialized one for off-road use), high visibility headlights, 8.4-inch Uconnect Nav system with touchscreen, smartphone integration and on-board connectivity advanced. The dashboard with 7-inch TFT display provides information on the battery charge level, and on the autonomy in electric and hybrid mode. Other useful devices are the blind spot control, the rear view camera, the possibility of getting into the car without using the key and the electric rear view mirrors.
Urban and Off-road versions cost the same: 40,900 euros for Renegade and 45,900 euros for Compass, excluding eco-bonuses, and enjoy the extension of the vehicle warranty to 5 years total and 8 years for the battery. The arrival in the dealerships for the summer.
