The McLaren GT Verdant will not go unnoticed, the last sports car of the House of Woking passed into the hands of the men of the MSO special department, an acronym for McLaren Special Operations: its strong point the livery but also in the cockpit reserves surprises. It’s called Verdant – green – to recall a more accentuated green vision of the past. The engine is obviously that of the McLaren GT, the 4-liter double turbocharger with 620 hp, with supercar performance, 0-100 km / h in just 3.2 seconds.
The body color has been studied to amaze. It is the application of a satin varnish with three shades blended together, graduated from light to dark, a unique process. To achieve the perfect progression of shades (Horsell Green, Arbor and Steppe Green), 430 hours of work were necessary. The lines on the front splitter in Napier Green (the same color used for the brake calipers) have been hand-painted, while the choice of the MSO Black Pack enhances the contrast with a glossy black finish for the rims, the outline of the window and exhaust finishes.
But also the particular passenger compartment: The Dark Green and Jet Black leathers contrast with the Laurel Green stitching combined with the anthracite gray cashmere that finishes the central tunnel, the door inserts, the lower part of the dashboard, the sun visors, the headrests and the back high of the seats. There are other details such as the identification plate of the model and the laser engraving of the MSO logo on the accelerator pedal. A touch of green also present in the contours of the seats and recalls the external livery.
